In the mid 1970s AMT produced a kit that was supposed to resemble an Eagle Indy car. Much like the McLaren, there were a lot of inaccuracies and for whatever reason, they never did come out with a kit of the car that won the 1973 race. One of the unique features of the 1973 Eagles was the 63" wide, double-element rear wing. This wing is an accurate represntation of that wing and can be used with the AMT or Bill Jorgensen Eagle kits.

1973 Eagle Rear Wing, 1/25 scale

Accurate rear wing for Gordon Johncock's 1973 winner

The frosted detail plastic that this item is produced in has a bit of a rough surface that needs to be sanded smooth before painting. To facilitate ease of sanding, we have designed this wing in easy-to-sand sections that can be assembled before or after painting, whichever you chose.

This part is'printed' and sold through our partner store at Shapeways and will be processed and shipped independently from any orders placed through the Indycals website. Multiple parts ordered together will be combined under one shipping charge.

Please note that the material used to 'print' these parts is brittle - please exercise care when handling so as not to break off fragile parts.
