Formula One veteran Eddie Cheever teamed up with A.J. Foyt in 1995 and at Nazareth, Cheever came within two miles of scoring the first CART victory for AJ Foyt racing, but the car ran out of fuel with less than two laps to go.

At Indy, Cheever qualified a solid 14th but his race day was short - Stan Fox had his career ending accident in the first turn of the first lap and Eddie got caught up in the accident ending his day right there.
