They say green is an unlucky color in Indycar racing. Whether or not there is something to that superstition, green certainly wasn't a lucky color for Tom Sneva. Despite a promising start to the month that saw Sneva qualify strongly in seventh position, his day ended with a crash on the pace lap and he never saw the green flag.
