This was the last in the line of the Coyote chassis line. It's last race was the Innaugural Michigan 500 where the accompanying photo was taken. It's day ended against the armco barrier which nearly tore off AJ Foyt's right arm. Although Foyt won the 1981 Pocono 500 weeks before the Michigan 500, he was not driving the Coyote, but instead he was in a March 81C.
