only check Indycals

At the urging of Dan Gurney, Colin Chapman brought his Lotus team to Indy. The funny looking car with the engine in back made the establishment stand up and take notice. Jim Clark qualified a strong fifth and in the race he was chasing down leader Parnelli Jones when Jones' car started leaking oil making it difficult for Clark to gain ground. USAC chose not to black flag Jones, who won the race with Clark finishing second. Two year later they would again finish first and second, but this time Clark would get the win.
