Graham Rahal was scheduled to make his Indycar debut at the Homestead race in 2008 but a practice crash caused the team to withdraw and focus on the next round on the street circuit at St. Petersburg. Despite an early spin, Rahal went on to win the St. Pete race, beating defending champion Helio Castroneves. At age 20, Rahal became the youngest person to win an Indycar race and the fourth driver to win his debut Indycar race.
