After a breakout year in 1977 where it won three races (including it's debut race) and was runner up in the World Championship, the Wolf WR1 was showing it's age during the 1978 season. Despite struggling to keep up with Lotus, Ferrari and Brabham, Scheckter scored a 3rd place in Montreal. The WR-1 was used in four of the first six races in 78 before being replaced for good by the WR5. The WR1 did make one comeback in Canada at the hands of Bobby Rahal.

Ideal for restoring an old Tamiya Wolf WR-1 kit, or to do a 1978 version that wasn't an option with the kit decals. Available in 1/20 and 1/12 scale. Please note, if you are building the 1977 version of this car, you need to purchase the 1977 decal sheet.

IMPORTANT NOTES!

NEW! We are now offering a blue numbers version for those who prefer to paint the gold on the wingplates and sidepods.

NEW! We now offer a 1/12 scale version of this sheet. The 1/12 version is available in the blue numbers option only. Helmet decals are not included on the 1/12 sheet.

NEW! We are also offering fill-in sheets for the missing markings in the 2010 1/20 and 1/12 scale re-issues. The 1/20 sheet comes with the missing markings for the car and the tires. The 1/12 sheet comes with the missing marknigs for the car and blue numbers for those who want to paint the gold.

This sheet has been redone so that the gold now matches Tamiya TS21 Gold paint.
