The 1933 Monza Grand Prix was a race run on the high banked oval at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza.

The race was part of a double-header with the Italian Grand Prix run later in the day on the full circuit. Unfortunately the Monza Grand Prix was a tragic affair with Campari fatally crashing after hitting oil, a crash which also took the life of his team mate Baconin Borzacchin who was running in second place. Later in the race yet another fatal accident occured claming the life of Count Stanislas Czaykowski.
